Making Tennis Easier & Fun To Play!
Hi, my name is Motez Robinson, Jr. or, as all my students know me, “Coach Mo“. I have been teaching tennis to youths and adults in St. Petersburg, Florida for nearly 15 years now and I was a life-skills provider for underprivileged children in an after-school tennis program. My background is in psychology and I am passionate about helping players (beginners to advanced) develop a love for the game and have fun while doing it. My best tennis accomplishments to date are participating in collegiate national championships, winning USTA sectional and regional championships, and participating in USTA national tournaments. My most memorable tennis moments came in 1981 as I was a ball person at the U.S. Open tennis tournament in Flushing Meadow, New York.
I learned how to play tennis initially through reading books and magazines, I always looking for the most efficient, natural way to execute the strokes. Sometimes I found it, but most of the time it was the same old conventional advise just delivered in a different package. I kept searching and asking questions as I have always had a thirst for new knowledge. But it wasn’t until recently that I found the “Holy Grail” of the tennis methodologies I had been searching for: the Modern Tennis Methodologies.
After years of frustration with my own tennis strokes, I found the flow, the ease, and the athleticism I had longed for in my tennis game and my strokes. I play with more confidence, relaxation, and fun. Hence, I have dedicated myself the last few years to sharing these proven techniques to both beginning players and those who have been frustrated by conventional instructions of the past. Everyday I am blessed with seeing the smiles on the faces of my students when they discover how easy and intuitive these methods are, and how easily they transform their tennis strokes. And I learn from them as well. I know these tennis tips will help your game if you give them a try.
